About the Churchill Fellows Association of Tasmania
The Churchill Fellows Association Tasmania (CFAT) is an association run by
an elected management committee comprising President, Secretary, Treasure and
usually four to five committee members.
The committee meets monthly and encourages communication by email. We welcome
committee members from all parts of Tasmania.

Fellowship year
Through the year CFAT hosts various activities including the AGM, the Annual
Churchill dinner at which new Churchill Fellows are welcomed, visits to
Churchill Fellows at their workplace and other activities.
At these functions as many Fellows as possible, are encouraged to talk about
their study trips (Churchill chats).
Our Vision
To encourage and support Tasmanians to apply for Churchill Fellowships and to communicate with all Tasmanian Churchill Fellows,
whether at home or abroad and to promote friendship and networking.
Our aims and objectives
- To promote the Churchill Fellowship and the life and work of Sir Winston Churchill to all
Tasmanians and provide information to potential applicants;
- To welcome and support new Fellows;
- To provide opportunities for fellowship and networking with other Fellows; and
- To encourage Churchill Fellows to disseminate information about their fields of interest.
